With Luis Campos coming into the fold as the sporing advisor at Paris Saint-Germain, the Portuguese club chief will implement a transfer philosophy similar to what he had at AS Monaco and Lille OSC.
Campos will target young players with high potential, and the latest young talent that the capital club could be eyeing is Fenerbahce’s Arda Güler. According to TRT’s Barış Yurduseven, the Ligue 1 side is very keen on this transfer, and negotiations have been ongoing.
The 17-year-old can play as an attacking midfielder, central midfielder, and right-winger. The teenager made 12 Süper Lig appearances for Fenerbahce this past season, scoring three goals and recording three assists.
When it comes to the possible transfer fee, Transfermarkt puts the transfer value of Güler at €6-million and is under contract until 2025. The attacking midfielder fits the player prototype that Campos goes after in terms of young talent that he can get for a reasonable place and see his value either triple or quadruple.
