Last month, Neymar confirmed that he is aiming to stay put at Paris Saint-Germain for next season. From newly appointed PSG football advisor Luis Campos’ standpoint, he is reportedly not seeing eye-to-eye with the Brazilian forward on this matter.
As noted by FootMercato, PSG is open to offloading Neymar over the summer transfer window.
Campos is not “counting” on the Brazilian international for the upcoming new season and would be open to letting him leave the reigning Ligue 1 champions if any club submits an “interesting” offer for him.
The report further notes that PSG will face a roadblock in finding a suitor for Neymar, as he is earning around €30 million per season. He put pen to paper on a four-year extension deal with PSG club officials last year that also includes an option for another year.
Neymar did not have his best season over the 2021-2022 campaign, although he did pick up his form late in the year. He finished the Ligue 1 season with at least one goal contribution recorded in his final seven league matches of the campaign.
