Report: Galtier Reaches an Agreement With PSG to Become the Club’s New Manager

OGC Nice manager Christophe Galtier has come to terms with Paris Saint-Germain on a two-year contract deal to become its new manager, according to a report from RMC Sport.

The report further adds that, as it stands, there are still “final details” to be settled regarding this matter. More so, the agreement between the two sides also includes an option for a third year.

L’Equipe also notes that Galtier will receive a salary lower than what soon-to-be-former PSG manager Mauricio Pochettino earned over his two-year run at the club.

PSG had spent the past days aiming to reach an agreement with OGC Nice to bring Galtier to the club. L’Equipe added that PSG was in talks with the Coupe de France finalists on a €10 million deal that would see the French manager be released by the side.

Barring a change of plans, PSG is set to be the fourth Ligue 1 club that Galtier will coach in his managerial career.
