PSG Mercato: Paris SG Remains Interested in Barcelona Transfer Target

FC Barcelona has been the club constantly linked to Bayer Munich striker Robert Lewandowski, who reportedly wants out of the Bundesliga giants. Despite the Spanish club’s interest in the 33-year-old, no deal has been reached between the two sides.

However, Barcelona will reportedly offer €50-million for the striker, but still, with no agreement in place for a transfer, Paris Saint-Germain might be preparing itself for a swoop. According to Foot Mercato, PSG believes still in its chances of recruiting Robert Lewandowski.

Furthermore, the Poland international’s agent Pini Zahavi is not against seeing his protege arrive at PSG, a club he knows perfectly well for having brought in Neymar a few seasons ago.

Last season, Lewandowski appeared in 46 fixtures for the German giants, scoring 50 goals and recording seven assists.

The report doesn’t state how much the Ligue 1 champions would be willing to pay for the striker whose contract expires next year. Also, the interest in Lewandowski wouldn’t affect their pursuit of Sassuolo forward Gianluca Scamacca as it’s an independent file.
