PSG Mercato: Paris SG Has Villarreal Star to Replace Neymar Jr. If They Sell Him This Summer

Paris Saint-Germain will be undergoing changes this summer as incoming club chiefs Luis Campos and Antero Henrique mold the squad into one that’s less of a marketing campaign and more of a football one.

According to Marca, one player that the capital club wants to add is Villarreal striker Arnaut Danjuma; however, before they can consider pursuing the Netherlands international, PSG must have to offload Neymar Jr.

The Spanish media outlet states that the Ligue 1 side wants the 30-year-old out, but it’s complicated. Neymar’s salary decreases season after season, but right now, it is at €30-million, something hardly affordable for another club.

If the capital club can figure out a way to move on from the Brazil international, Danjuma has a release clause of £45-million, which is a sum that Les Parisiens can afford to pay.

Danjuma appeared in 34 fixtures for Villarreal this past season, where he scored 16 goals and recorded four assists.
