This summer, Paris Saint-Germain will be looking to improve their midfield, and incoming sporting advisor Luis Campos is looking at various targets, including some in Ligue 1. The latest name to surface is Stade Rennais’ Lovro Majer, who is coming off a successful season with the French side.
According to Foot Mercato, Campos is leading the charge in testing the waters for the 24-year-old. Nonetheless, the capital club has still not been formalized, and the report adds that the representatives of the Croatian neither confirmed nor denied PSG’s interest.
During his 2021-22 season, Majer made 49 appearances for Stade Rennais, where he scored 11 goals and recorded 13 assists in his first year with the Ligue 1 side.
When it comes to a possible price, Transfermarkt puts the midfielder’s value at €20-million, and he’s under contract until 2026. Furthermore, PSG isn’t the only club eyeing Majer, as RB Leipzig and Atletico Madrid are keen on him this summer.
