Paris Saint-Germain sporting advisor Luis Campos has reportedly landed FC Porto’s Vitinha and is linked to Lille OSC midfielder Renato Sanches. Still, the capital club isn’t planning on stopping at those two midfielders.
El Crack Deportivo reports PSG is the newest club interested in River Plate midfielder Enzo Fernández. The 21-year-old is connected to Portuguese giants Benfica, who have reportedly made a €15-million offer to the Argentine side for 70-percent of the player’s pass.
Fernández fits the profile of a player that the Ligue 1 champions have been linked to this summer, who is young, hungry, and has something to prove at a club whose goal is to win the UEFA Champions League.
Putting an offer of €15-million or slightly more might not be challenging for Les Parisiens this summer. The Argentine midfielder has appeared in 24 fixtures so far this season for River Plate, where he has scored nine goals and recorded six assists, and is under contract until 2025.
He can play either as a midfielder or defensive midfielder, so Fernández would bring versatility to the squad if they do indeed pursue this file.
