PSG Mercato: Paris SG Challenging AC Milan to Land Lille’s €30M Rated Midfielder

Paris Saint-Germain sporting advisor Luis Campos intends to continue improving the midfield following the reported deal for FC Porto Vitinha. The club chief’s latest target will see him reunite with a former player while at Lille OSC.

According to Foot Mercato, Campos would like to bring Renato Sanches to the French capital, but the capital club will need to beat out AC Milan, who has the lead on this file.

The French media outlet adds that the Serie A side already has an agreement with the player but not with Lille, who is asking for €30-million, while Milan is only offering €15-million at the moment.

Nonetheless, the financial aspect could well work in favor of PSG. The Serie A champions can’t make any big offers until July due to their recent takeover, but the problem is that Lille does not want to wait. The French club wants to quickly recover cash before its passage before the DNCG at the end of the month.

PSG could benefit from this AC Milan’s inability to spend big in this short period until their takeover is done. The capital club is ready to match the €30-million requested by Lille for Sanches.
