This summer, Paris Saint-Germain will be attempting to offload players who have no future at the capital club in this new era under sporting advisor Luis Campos. One name the Ligue 1 champions want to part ways with is Mauro Icardi.
Il Corriere dello Sport (via Foot Mercato) reports that PSG would have asked football super-agent, Jorge Mendes, to help exfiltrate the player. Despite the arrival of Campos and the unofficial return of Antre Henrique, PSG has reportedly asked Mendes for assistance in transferring Icardi.
Furthermore, they want Mendes to help to see if he can relocate Icardi to Wolverhampton Wanderers this summer. Although Wolves aren’t a sexy club, they’re in the Premier League, so they have the finances to offer good salaries.
With this possible transfer in motion, the next step would be to see if the group of men can convince Icardi on the move to Molineux Stadium this summer. Moving from the 29-year-old would allow Campos to bring in Sassuolo striker Gianluca Scamacca.
