Paris Saint-Germain football advisor Luis Campos is aiming to bolster the team’s backline in the summer transfer window, and he has zoned in on AS Roma full-back Leonardo Spinazzola, as noted by Il Mattino.
The report adds that Real Madrid has also been keeping tabs on a potential transfer move for the Italian international.
Spinazzola featured for AS Roma over the past three seasons, where he logged 75 total appearances in all competitions.
Over this past season, Spinazzola played in a mere four matches for first-year AS Roma manager Jose Mourinho, as the Achilles tendon injury suffered during the UEFA Euro 2020 tournament wound up sidelining him for much of the year. He did go on to take part in 23 minutes of the Serie A side’s 2022 UEFA Europa Conference League Final victory over Feyenoord.
PSG currently has three left-backs on its roster, including Nuno Mendes.
