As Leandro Paredes’ future with Paris Saint-Germain is up in the air, he would at the least welcome a move to AS Roma, as noted by Corriere dello Sport.
The report mentions that Paredes “would not mind” joining AS Roma over the summer transfer window — a club with which he spent a mere one season during the last decade.
The Argentine midfielder has two more seasons remaining on his contract, which comes after an option for another year was recently automatically triggered.
From PSG’s standpoint, the club is open to parting ways with the Argentine midfielder. One recent report noted that PSG has set a price demand of €20 million for him.
Paredes has featured as a defensive and base midfielder at PSG over the years. He has also shown the ability to be a reliable ball-winner as well; he posted a 1.5 tackles per match average in Ligue 1 this past season.
The wait continues on whether Paredes will stay put at PSG or find a new home elsewhere.
