With the summer transfer window now well underway in Ligue 1, Paris Saint-Germain football advisor Luis Campos is now reportedly looking to find a suitor for Mauro Icardi.
According to a report from the Italian-based outlet La Repubblica (via Le10Sport), Juventus has been offered the chance to sign Icardi.
Icardi currently has two more seasons remaining on his contract at PSG, and he is just coming off of a campaign where manager Mauricio Pochettino did not necessarily call upon him in crucial matches. He logged a mere three appearances in UEFA Champions League play and also did not feature in the round of 16 tie against Real Madrid.
Icardi did open up earlier this month that he is aiming to stay put at PSG, as his “career is not in danger.”
If Campos is able to find a suitor for Icardi, his attention may then shift toward signing a forward or two to bolster the team’s attacking depth.
