Paris Saint-Germain sporting advisor Luis Campos is hot on the trail of Inter Milan central defender Milan Skriniar to further improve the backline, considering there are question marks behind Marquinhos.
However, the French giants aren’t the only clubs in the mix for the defender, as Gazzetta dello Sport (via The Daily Mail) reports that Chelsea is also in for the 27-year-old. The Blues have lost Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen, so they need to rebuild their backline.
The report doesn’t state how much the Premier League side is willing to offer regarding a fee. But, it does say they’re offering midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek, who is among the players that manager Thomas Tuchel would have indicated as expendable.
Inter Milan reportedly wants at least €70-million for the defender, who has one more year left on his deal.
The Serie A club needs to sell, and it seems as though Skriniar is one of the players they’re willing to part ways with to balance their books. Along with Skriniar, Chelsea is also connected to PSG’s Presnel Kimpembe.
I dont like how this market is proceeding. All Im hearing are big names will be sold but then average players like Bella and Milinko for Skriniar are considering to be bought . Thats ridiculous and not good for the long term.
Chelsea has been with almost every good player. Rhetoric vs Action!
