PSG Mercato: Barcelona Has Set Their Asking Price for Paris SG Target

Over the last few weeks, Paris Saint-Germain has been linked to FC Barcelona midfielder Frenkie de Jong as new sporting advisor Luis Campos is interested in the 25-year-old.

PSG needs to improve their midfield for next season so it comes as no surprise that they’re in on de Jong, but the possible asking price could cause the French giants to pause on any interest.

According to ESPN, Barcelona will listen to offers worth €100 million for the Netherlands international. The La Liga side is ready to let de Jong leave this summer to help balance the books amid a continued financial crisis at the club.

However, despite being open to letting the midfielder leave, they won’t give him away for cheap. The Spanish club is willing to bargain the breakdown of the price, such as how much of the cost is upfront and how much is in add-ons, but they want the agreement to be around €100-million.

The reported clubs interested are PSG, Manchester United, and FC Bayern Munich, so Barcelona is hopeful of getting one of those big clubs to pay the substantial fee.
