Latest Reports Reveal the Power Former Real Madrid Boss Zinedine Zidane Will Have at PSG

In the last 24 hours, the thought of seeing former Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane manage Paris Saint-Germain for next season is becoming a reality.

According to French outlets like RMC Sport, the Ligue 1 champions are close to reaching an agreement with Zidane to replace Mauricio Pochettino as their coach.

The report adds that sources inside Les Parisiens do not deny the discussions but deny any signing of an agreement with the former Real Madrid manager. While Pochettino’s departure has not yet been finalized, conversations should continue for several more days before a final signing of the French coach.

Canal Supporters adds that Luis Campos being a sports advisor more than a sporting director, this move would also give Zidane more of an influence on the squad.

Finally, the report notes that PSG promised broad decision-making power to the 49-year-old, close to English-style management.

Adding Zidane to take over as manager would be the icing on the cake to begin their summer as the capital club was able to extend Kylian Mbappe and now appears to be on the verge of hiring arguably the best manager in the world.

  1. PSG made a huge mistake with Thomas Tuckel. The second mistake was hiring a mediocre manager who was reaching the players using an interpreter, and who had no vision at all. Now they hired eventually a real manager and my hope is that they will let him do his job without interfering with anything he is going to decide.I wish PSG and Zidane a sincerely good luck .
