Over the last couple of days, there’s been plenty of speculation over the future of Neymar Jr. and how the Paris Saint-Germain forward could only move to the Premier League since clubs there could afford his wages.
Chelsea, Manchester United, and Newcastle United have been linked to the 30-year-old, but one club that isn’t connected to the Brazil international is Tottenham Hotspur.
During a segment on talkSPORT, pundit Darren Ambrose believes that the north London club would be one of the few bypassing the opportunity to land Neymar. He adds that the PSG star wouldn’t see much playing time for Spurs and might not get along with manager Antonio Conte.
“I don’t think he’d play, to be honest. I don’t think he’d get on with Antonio Conte,” Ambrose said. “I’m not saying it because of his ability; he’s a talented footballer. I’m saying it because of what I think he’d bring to Tottenham.”
🤔 “Would I take Neymar at Tottenham? No. I don’t think he’d play.”

Tottenham finished fourth in the Premier League last season and hasn’t won a trophy since 2008, so perhaps giving a player like Neymar a look could help end their silverware drought.
Nonetheless, with the wages and lack of suitors present; the likely scenario is that all this Neymar departure talk will be for nothing, and he remains at PSG.
