It’s only a matter of time until Paris Saint-Germain makes the hiring of Luis Campos as their sports advisor official. However, it doesn’t mean the new club chief hasn’t been working despite not making the announcement yet.
L’Equipe (via Hadrien Grenier) reports that Campos has made a list of 12 players who need to exit the club ahead of the summer transfer window opening in a couple of weeks.
Of the players that the Portuguese executive wants out, the list includes Layvin Kurzawa, Mauro Icardi, Ander Herrera, Idrissa Gueye, Georginio Wijnaldum, and Leandro Paredes.
Furthermore, the French media outlet adds that Campos desires five new players and is also watching for opportunities for a midfielder and winger while attempting to Frenchify the PSG squad.
Campos has already obtained the verbal agreement of at least two players. Therefore, it seems as though the capital club has a plan in place and is ready to execute it this summer and build a team that can push to win the Champions League.
