French Press Gives Latest on PSG’s Pursuit of Inter Milan, Sassuolo Star Players

Luis Campos has taken over the sporting advisor role at Paris Saint-Germain, and the two most consistent targets reported in the media that the Portuguese wants are Inter Milan’s Milan Skriniar and Sassuolo striker Gianluca Scamacca.

Campos wants to add more competition to the backline and a different profile to their attack. Foot Mercato relayed the latest information, beginning with the pursuit of Scamacca, in which they state the situation is progressing well; even if there are only a few details left to settle, they are very confident in this operation.

A recent report suggested that PSG is offering €35-million for the 23-year-old, which falls short of Sassuolo’s asking price of €50-million. Nonetheless, it seems as though the distance in sum isn’t affecting their confidence.

Meanwhile, the French giants are also calm for Milan Skriniar, the main target to strengthen their defense. The capital club wants to be particularly confident and believes it can quickly complete the deal.

Scamacca will come to occupy the place of a Mauro Icardi, considered undesirable, and Skriniar, on the other hand, will provide competition for a player like Presnel Kimpembe.
