A report out of Spain recently revealed that football agent Pini Zahavi was offering Paris Saint-Germain forward Neymar Jr. to FC Barcelona as an alternative if they cannot secure a deal for Bayer Munich striker Robert Lewandowski.
Over the last few days, there have been various outlets providing information regarding the future of Neymar in the French capital. The 30-year-old reportedly does want to remain part of the new project, with sporting advisor Luis Campos leading the charge.
During an interview with Goal (via Paris Fans), Wagner Ribeiro, the former agent of Neymar, gave some insight into what he thinks will be the path that the Brazil international takes since he’s tied to PSG until 2027.
“Neymar has a dream: to win the Champions League with PSG. Despite all the rumors about a possible departure, he is very motivated and will not leave until he has fulfilled his objective,” Ribeiro said.
Furthermore, Ribeiro added that Neymar does indeed like the project that PSG is presenting amid the changes coming to the French club following the arrival of Campos and the likely appointing of Christophe Galtier as their manager for next season.
“Each year Nasser Al-Khelaïfi improves the team. They will complete their training center, which will be one of the best. And now he wants to have the best French players at PSG,” Ribeiro said.
