It seems like it’s only a matter of time until Paris Saint-Germain decides to sack manager Mauricio Pochettino. The Argentine tactician has one more year on his contract left, but incoming sporting advisor Luis Campos has the final say, and he might want to bring in his manager.
According to RMC Sport, Christophe Galtier still appears well placed on a shrinking list of coaching candidates. Furthermore, the report indicates that the Nice coach is competing with only one other coach, whose name has not been filtered.
The French media outlet adds that Galtier no longer hides it in private: he wants to join PSG and the most ambitious project of his career so far. The current Nice manager would reunite with Campos, who were both at Lille OSC when they won the league in 2020-21.
With Nice reportedly looking at other managers for the 2022-23 season, it becomes clearer that Galtier would have no obstacles if Campos were to elect the French tactician to join him in Paris.
