A Report Details the Compensation PSG Is Willing to Pay for Christophe Galtier

After reportedly striking out on former Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane, Paris Saint-Germain has found their new bench manager in Christophe Galtier, which is sporting advisor Luis Campos had as his priority this summer.

French football journalist Fabrice Hawkins reports that unless the situation turns around, Galtier will be the next PSG coach. Furthermore, the French giants have agreed to pay close to €10 million in compensation to OGC Nice to release him from his contract.

Lucien Favre is the big favorite to take Galtier’s place at Nice if he moves to the French capital. Campos has worked alongside the French tactician at Lille OSC, where they won Ligue 1 in 2021.

Last season, the 55-year-old coach managed 43 fixtures, where he won 24 games, lost 12, and drew seven games. Taking over PSG will be the most significant task of his managerial career, but at least Galtier has the backing of Campos to lead the squad next season.
