The contract extension saga with Kylian Mbappe is reportedly coming to an end as he decides between extending with Paris Saint-Germain or heading to Real Madrid.
According to Foot Mercato, the 23-year-old will announce his decision this Sunday on where he will play next season. The France international’s representatives have reportedly met with both parties, and now he’s ready to decide.
In a couple of days, these clubs will know what direction their club will go down, whether that includes Mbappe or not. For PSG, they have to prove that their sporting project is currently going in the right direction after a disastrous season that included crashing out in the UEFA Champions League Round of 16 and Coupe de France.
Should Mbappe leave, it will be a reality check for the capital club, which needs to prioritize the sporting aspects of running a team and not the marketing side. Nonetheless, it seems as though this saga will be coming to an end and will have a happy or sad ending for one team.
