PSG Mercato: Sporting CP Forward Sarabia Has a Change of Plans on Club Future

Sporting CP forward Pablo Sarabia is set to return to his parent club, Paris Saint-Germain, in the summer following his one-season loan stint at the Portuguese side. However, Sarabia would much prefer to stay put at Sporting CP for next season, as noted by the Spanish-based outlet Marca.

Sarabia is much pleased with his standing at Sporting CP from both a “sporting and personal level” standpoint and would thus like to remain with the Portuguese powerhouse.

Sporting CP club officials would also like to keep Sarabia at the club, although there is a dilemma at hand as the veteran forward will earn €13 million gross for next season, which is a salary that they do not wish to pay out to him.

PSG sporting director Leonardo has reportedly touched base with Sarabia to note that the forward will stay on at the Ligue 1 side for next season.

Overall, Sarabia has so far chipped in with 14 goals and six assists in Primeira Liga play with Sporting CP this season.
