PSG Mercato: Salernitana Club Chief Puts Asking Price on Paris SG Transfer Target

Paris Saint-Germain will look to improve their midfield this summer, and one of the targets linked to the capital club is Salernitana’s Éderson, who is drawing some interest from top European clubs.

With the summer transfer window opening next month, the club president for Salernitana knows there will be a market for the 22-year-old and in a column for La Gazzetta dello Sport (via Foot Mercato). Danili Iervolino discussed a possible transfer for the Brazil international and put the asking price.

Iervolino states that he’s been on the receiving end of many calls for the midfielder, and it appears as though the club chief won’t stand in the way should a club meet the asking price for Éderson, who’s under contract until 2026.

“I have so many friends who message me to tell me about him. It’s a great heritage for the club and I haven’t yet thought about its value, but I believe that, considering its age, its role and its offensive and defensive qualities, it would be at least €30M-€35M. He can become an exceptional champion, the best in his position,” Iervolino wrote.

Since coming over during the winter transfer window, Éderson has appeared in 12 fixtures while scoring two goals and recording one assist. For the majority of his time in Serie A, he’s played as a central midfielder but can play the defensive midfielder role too.
