Paris Saint-Germain is keen on improving their midfield, and for over the last year, the capital club has been connected to Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba, whose deal expires next month.

The capital club is competing with Juventus to land the 29-year-old this summer on a free transfer. The Serie A side has a reported three-year offer with €7.5 million per year, plus bonuses for the France international.

However, now the capital club is ready to surpass that as La Gazzetta dello Sport (via Foot Mercato) reports that PSG has offered a three-year contract with a salary of €12 million. An offensive that does not seem, however, to cool Juventus, which would remain confident in this pursuit.

Pogba has a connection to Juventus, having played there, so it might not take an outstanding might not sway the midfielder if he’s not convinced of the sporting project, so it will be interesting to see how this file continues to develop.
