Paris Saint-Germain is in the market to upgrade their midfield this summer, and one name that has been connected to the capital club is Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba. The 29-year-old’s contract expires next month, and he will leave as a free agent.
Les Parisiens have been in on Pogba for nearly a year; however, it seems a return to his hometown will not be occurring. Instead, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport (via Canal Supporters), the France international is heading to Turin and signing with Juventus for his second stint with the club.
The Italian media outlet states that the Serie A side, the two parties, have agreed to a three-year contract, and a salary of €10-million per year plus a bonus awaits him upon signing his new deal.
If this report is accurate, it will be interesting to see where PSG goes from here to improve their midfield. This summer, the Ligue 1 side needs at least a couple of midfielders to strengthen that area within the squad.
