PSG Mercato: Atlético Madrid Is Expressing Interest in Paris SG’s €25M Outcast

This past summer, Paris Saint-Germain opted to let their forward Pablo Sarabia depart for Sporting CP on loan in Portugal for more playing time.

The 29-year-old has found success with the Portuguese giants, scoring 18 goals and recording nine assists. Although Sarabia won’t be staying in Lisbon due to the finances, his form has caught the eye of other clubs.

Mundo Deportivo reports that Atlético Madrid is interested in Sarabia since manager Diego Simeone has been a long-time admirer of the right-winger. The Argentine tactician likes his versatility to play on the entire offensive front, commitment, quality, and goal.

As a result, these qualities make Sarabia a desired piece for the Spanish club. In addition, the Spain international’s situation is “favorable” since he is on loan at Sporting from PSG and has to return at the end of the season.

Furthermore, the report states that the capital club is willing to part with him, which would help make his signing cheaper. During his time with Les Parisiens, Sarabia appeared in 79 matches, scoring 22 goals and registering 12 assists.
