Pastore Makes a Pick on Which Current PSG Star is the Best Player in the World

Paris Saint-Germain currently boasts three of the most coveted attacking players in world football today with Lionel Messi, Neymar and Kylian Mbappe. For former PSG midfielder Javier Pastore, he is siding with Mbappe as his pick as the best player in the world.

“He is the best player in the world today and he shows it in every game,” Pastore told Telefoot. “We are behind him, we watch him. These are players that you want to watch play all the time. Every game he plays it, we are there to see it.”

Mbappe sure has made a strong case to be the clear-cut top talent in the sport today. He has had his way in Ligue 1 play so far this season, scoring a league-leading 24 goals through 32 matches played. More so, he has continued to add another dimension to his play as a playmaker, which includes posting a 1.9 key passes per match average to go along with 15 assists recorded in the ongoing campaign.

PSG has three matches left in its league schedule, which include the upcoming home clash against Troyes. Mbappe needs a mere one goal from this trio of contests to reach a 25 goals and 15 assists campaign in Ligue 1.
