Italian Press Provides Lates on Juventus Pursuit of PSG’s €20M Midfielder

Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Leandro Paredes’ contract is up in 2023, so recent reports are surfacing over the Argentine’s future with the capital club. There’s long been an interest for the 27-year-old from Serie A sides because he played a significant time there.

Juventus is one of the Italian clubs having their eye on Paredes, and Tuttosport has provided the latest information on The Old Lady’s pursuit of him. According to the report, the fee could be a hurdle for them in pursuing the PSG midfielder.

The French giants reportedly want a transfer fee north of €20-million, which is too much for Juventus, especially considering Paredes has only one more year left on his deal after this season.

Wages are another hurdle that the two parties must agree on, as Paredes currently makes €7-million per season. It’s a sum that Juventus could pay, but it would need to be spread out, and the midfielder cannot ask for a figure more.

PSG wants to make significant changes this summer to their squad, and Paredes could be a casualty and exit the French capital.
