‘Does Not Exist’ – Florentino Perez Discusses Kylian Mbappe Not Joining Real Madrid

During their entire stay in Paris, Real Madrid supporters, rather than focus on their team, is in the UEFA Champions League final; the fan base took it as an opportunity to take shots at Paris Saint-Germain Kylian Mbappe.

Mbappe last week made it official that he would remain with the capital club until 2025. After Real Madrid defeated Liverpool to win their 14th UEFA Champions League, president Florentino Perez spoke about the Spanish side missing out on Real Madrid.

“Real will always continue to work to have the best players. But Mbappé, it’s already forgotten, nothing happened,” Perez said on Movistar

“Real had a perfect season and it’s a subject that is forgotten. Today, Mbappe does not exist. What does exist is the Real party.”

Although Real Madrid has won the Champions League over a dozen times in their club’s history, Mbappe is attempting to win the competition once to make history by bringing the trophy for the first time to PSG and his hometown.

Despite many pundits and supporters not understanding this, Mbappe wants to leave a legacy in Paris that would put him in the status of folk or god-like hero by winning that trophy with PSG.

  1. I don’t think Mbape will win a Champions League in his football career because he have missed his chance 3 times firstly was in 2017 and secondly was last year no three is this year when he has made last U turn to snub Real Madrid and ended up signing for PSG side it will be a big regret for him as he have watched the final on Saturday night Madrid lifted Champions league as their no 14 trophy.
