Video: ‘Put Aside the Bad Feelings’ – Mauricio Pochettino Wants the Support From PSG Fans

Paris Saint-Germain will be returning to action this weekend, but the sentiments of crashing out in the UEFA Champions League remain there. Nevertheless, the ultras will continue with their efforts, showing the cold shoulder to the capital club.

At his news conference, manager Mauricio Pochettino was asked about the supporters continuing to express their displeasure for their performance against Real Madrid a couple of weeks ago. The Argentine tactician understands their frustration but would like for them to support the squad as they pursue the club’s 10th Ligue 1 title.

“The team is doing much better. There was sadness and bitterness after Real Madrid and Monaco. We found a group with good feelings. Today, we must focus on the tenth title of champion of France.

“Beyond the disappointment that there may be with elimination in the Champions League, it’s time to come together around this goal; we need our best players and the support of all of the club. With the support of the fans, it will be easier to win our matches. This is the time to put aside the bad feelings without forgetting what happened.”
