Video: Pundit Explains Why He Almost Fell Asleep During the PSG-Marseille Match

On Sunday, Paris Saint-Germain and Olympique de Marseille for the latest installment of Le Classique. The first half of the matchup had all the scoring as Neymar Jr. would strike on an impressive first time from a pass from Marco Verratti to give PSG a 1-0 lead.

Marseille would respond minutes later as Duje Caleta-Car took advantage of PSG’s inability to clear the ball out of danger. Then towards the end of the first half, Kylian Mbappé converted a penalty kick, as the capital club won 2-1.

After the match, Prime Video Sport France pundit Thierry Henry discussed why he thought this was one of the more boring Le Classique’s.

“In general, I do longer as an analysis, but there, the first thirty minutes, it was soporific for me. I almost fell asleep,” Henry said. 

“Already, there was no atmosphere in the stadium. Stocks weren’t terrible. We saw two mistakes, apart from that; otherwise, it wasn’t terrible. At the end, it was a little better, but it was not terrible at the start.”
