Video: Mauricio Pochettino Explains Why the Kylian Mbappé Saga Doesn’t Bother Him

The future of Kylian Mbappé remains a topic of discussion, and there are some latest rumors regarding the 23-year-old having another offer on the table from Paris Saint-Germain. Nonetheless, the France international is holding on to see what improvements the capital club will make to fix their issues.

Manager Mauricio Pochettino was asked about the latest news regarding the forward and whether the saga is beginning to disturb him. The Argentine tactician stated that he hopes that Mbappé remains in the French capital past this season.

“No, as a coach, it doesn’t bother me; this kind of situation doesn’t only exist at PSG. This is not the first nor the last time that it will happen in all clubs. Selfishly, I would like to keep it, take it on vacation with me and even at home (laughs),” Pochettino said at his news conference

“We all want him to extend; that’s obvious. But these decisions belong to the club, to the player. But first, you have to be a champion. It is only after the season is over that we can address the various individual cases.”
