Juventus will be saying goodbye to Paulo Dybala this summer when his contract expires. The Italian club is exploring their options to replace the outgoing 28-year-old, and it seems as though they could replace him with another Argentine.
According to Italian football journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, Juventus will look for a left-handed winger adaptable to 4-3-3. The intention would be to take on a young player.
Still, if the opportunity arises to finalize the purchase of an experienced player, they’ll jump on the chance. One target that they’re analyzing is Angel Di Maria, whose contract with Paris Saint-Germain is expiring at the end of June.
The 34-year-old is reportedly open to a deal with the Serie A giants but would only accept a short contract, a one or two-year deal, to conclude his career in Argentina, as he wishes.
If Di Maria does indeed leave PSG after his deal ends and heads to Juventus, the Argentine will exit as the capital club’s all-time leader in assists.
