Paris Saint-Germain will have a new primary sponsor on its kit as the new generation online lifestyle platform GOAT will appear on the sleeve. Furthermore, the two parties will collaborate on other projects as part of this new venture.
In a press release relayed by Canal Supporters, the multi-year sponsorship with GOAT will begin this season. From July 1, 2022, GOAT will be part of the “Principal Partner” for PSG and will be on display on the sleeve of all club performance clothing, training, warm-up, and match kits.
Furthermore, the French media outlet L’Equipe reports the details regarding this new collaboration which would be for three years and worth nearly €50-million.
“We are delighted to welcome GOAT to the Paris Saint-Germain family. Thanks to this partnership, GOAT joins the tight list of club partners present on our emblematic jerseys,” PSG Chief Partnerships Officer Marc Amstrong said.
“GOAT is the ideal partner for the club. It reinforces our position as an icon of sport and style with fans around the world. Together, we will develop exciting and creative experiences to delight fans everywhere.
PSG will also be in the market for a new sponsor for the front of its kit as it seems they’ll be parting ways with Accor after this season. The favorite to be the capital club’s next main sponsor for its kits is reportedly Qatar Airways, but nothing yet is set in stone.
