PSG Transfer Target Reveals Motive to Reportedly Reject Manchester United

Over the past couple of weeks, Paris Saint-Germain has seen its name connected with various transfer targets to help improve its midfield. One player that has long been rumored to have the eye of the capital club is Lazio’s Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.

Recently, the 27-year-old’s name has once again surfaced in connection with PSG. Some reports state that the French giants are willing to pay a significant amount of money to land the Serbia international. However, the Ligue 1 side isn’t alone in pursuing the midfielder.

Manchester United and Juventus are the other two clubs hoping to land Milinkovic-Savic. However, PSG might see one of its competitors fall by the wayside. According to Il Tempo (via Goal), The Red Devils have the Lazio man as a target to replace Paul Pogba.

However, the Italian media outlet states that Milinkovic-Savic would likely turn Manchester United down if they are not in the UEFA Champions League next season. After missing out on Europe’s top competition this season, it appears to be a priority when choosing his next club.

The Premier League side sits three points out of the top four, and if Champions League is a measure, it could come down to PSG and Juventus vying for Milinkovic-Savic.
