PSG Mercato: Fress Press Reveals What PSG Wants to Do With Sergio Ramos

When Paris Saint-Germain decided to sign Sergio Ramos this past summer, it will fill Thiago Silva’s role as the veteran voice on the backline. However, bringing in the former Real Madrid captain hasn’t worked out.

Ramos has been unable to stay healthy and missed the two most important fixtures on the calendar this season, both legs against his former club in the UEFA Champions League Round of 16, leading to PSG’s elimination.

Despite the 35-year-old wanting to remain in the French capital, Le Parisien reports that Ramos is one of the players that the Ligue 1 side would like to move on from this summer.

The Spain international has one more year left on his contract after this season, so there’s no doubt that Les Parisiens will attempt to reach an agreement that sees both parties reach a termination of the deal.

At €7.3-million per season, Ramos hasn’t earned his salary in his first year with PSG, and it seems they don’t want to have another season where they pay high wages for the defender with little in return.
