When Paris Saint-Germain crashed out of the UEFA Champions League a couple of weeks ago against Real Madrid, plenty of criticism went around. Neymar Jr. was one player who received the brunt from the media and supporters.
Some in the media are calling for the capital club to move on from him this summer; meanwhile, the supporters booed him during the match against FC Girondins de Bordeaux. However, it seems as though the 30-year-old doesn’t want to go anyway.
In an interview with Téléfoot (via Paris Fans), former PSG attacker Nenê spoke about the future of Neymar and shared some insight on what his compatriot is thinking on whether he wants to stay in the French capital.
“Of course, he wants to continue. His dream is to win the Champions League with PSG. That’s what he told me,” Nenê said.
Neymar had a bounce-back performance this past weekend against FC Lorient. The Brazil international scored a brace and provided five key passes to help generate scoring chances as PSG thumped Les Merlus at the Parc des Princes.
