Paris Saint-Germain needs to overhaul its midfield, where they become less dependent on Marco Verratti. One target that the capital club has had its eye on for years is Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinković-Savić.

According to Il Messaggero (via Canal Supporters), Milinković-Savić will leave Lazio this summer despite being under contract until 2024. There are three clubs vying for the Serbia international: PSG, Manchester United, and Juventus.

The Italian media outlet states that both the Ligue 1 side and The Red Devils are willing to offer €60 million for the midfielder. However, Lazio president Claudio Lotito hopes to secure a fee between €65-million and €70-million for the 27-year-old.

Early rumors suggest that the French giants will be in the market for two world-class quality midfielders to improve their position, which has needed an upgrade over the past few years.

It will be interesting to see if PSG finally lands the midfielder they have been linked to over the years or decide the price might be too high for them and look elsewhere.
