Paris Saint-Germain will be hoping to offload players who either don’t have a future with the capital club or are making too much for their role on the squad. L’Equipe (via Paris Fans) reports on three players who are likely on the way out.

According to the French media outlet, Ángel Di María hoped to extend his contract with the capital a little more, but the management doesn’t share this same desire.

The 34-year-old didn’t play against Olympique de Marseille at all, with manager Mauricio Pochettino preferring to bring in Mauro Icardi, which shows the Argentine is relegated to the third level of substitutes.

Meanwhile, Icardi is another player whose future in PSG is likely over as the French giants hope to offload the striker for many reasons.

The soap opera Icardi has had with his wife and agent, Wanda Nara, annoyed all club levels, from sporting director Leonardo to supporters, including many who did not understand why the 29-year-old had benefited from three days of vacation. Icardi likes Paris, but he is clearly among those the club wants to get rid of this summer.

PSG, Leandro Paredes

Finally, there’s Leandro Paredes, who has one more year left on his contract after this season. The report states that the 27-year-old is a divisive player in the locker room. Francophones and assimilated believe that he takes on the role of Messi’s watchdog a little too serious.

As the FIFA World Cup approaches, Paredes understands he will need game time to solidify his spot on the Argentina national team. If he doesn’t get it in Paris, it will be elsewhere.
