Paris Saint-Germain will be in the market this summer to improve their midfield as they emphasize the sporting side of their project. One of the targets that the capital club is linked to is Lazio’s Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.
This summer, the 27-year-old appears to be eyeing a departure from the Serie A club, despite being under contract until 2024. Furthermore, it seems his agent is laying the groundwork for an exit.
According to Corriere dello Sport (via Fichajes), Milinkovic-Savic’s agent, Mateja Kezman, is already negotiating with the various interested clubs looking to land his client.
Once he talks with the clubs that want to have him on their team, Kezman will transfer the offers to Lazio to negotiate a friendly exit. A recent report claims PSG is willing to offer €80 million for the midfielder.
However, the claim notes that Milinkovic-Savic would prefer a move to Juventus and remain in Italian football. Meanwhile, Lazio president Claudio Lotito hopes to secure a fee between €65-million and €70-million for the Serbia international this summer.
