Video: ‘We’re Efficient’ – Andy Delort Talks How Nice Were Able to Defeat PSG

The fixture between OGC Nice and Paris Saint-Germain appeared to be heading towards a 0-0 draw. However, Les Aiglons scored a late goal in the second half, which proved to be the game-winner, and left with all three points.

Andy Delort scored the late goal, speaking to Canal Plus following the game, where he stated that Nice was ready to put forth a fight against the Ligue 1 leaders. The 30-year-old added that they were able to hurt PSG on the counter.

“We were waiting for this benchmark match because we are in the final sprint of a great season. It feels good. It comes at the right time against a great team. We will be very happy; the public played the game too. These are beautiful evenings to live,” Delort said.

“We had prepared it well, and it’s been a nice little week all the same. We had a good first half; after they put their foot on the ball a little, it was a little more complicated but behind on the counter, we hurt them. We’re efficient, and that’s what makes the difference tonight.”
