Video: ‘We Don’t Have to Start All Over’ – Leonardo Comments on the Future of PSG After Losing to Real Madrid

Paris Saint-Germain is coming off another UEFA Champions League disaster, and it’s looking for answers heading into next season, considering Kylian Mbappe could walk in a few months and Mauricio Pochettino is likely to be sacked.

Following the loss, PSG’s sporting director, Leonardo, spoke about what the future holds for the capital club as there’s a lot of uncertainty regarding people’s future. The club chief stated they don’t want to rebuild the squad, but they will examine everything.

“We really have to tell each other everything about what happened. But we must not throw everything away and put everything in the trash. We don’t have to start all over again with each defeat,” Leonardo said to RMC Sport

“The objective is to win the Champions League, and until half-time of this match, we were fine. We must try to improve this team and keep the morale up to play in Ligue 1 and end the season well. We have to stay together. Pochettino is still in the draft this season. Now is not the time to think about that.”
