Video: ‘They Stuck to Their Plan’ – Kylian Mbappé Discusses PSG’s Loss to Monaco

For nearly 90 minutes, Paris Saint-Germain was outplayed by AS Monaco, who opened the scoring midway through the first half and then put the game away with two goals towards the end to give themselves the victory.

After their latest loss, Kylian Mbappé spoke to Prime Video, where he stated that they need to focus on winning the league and remaining professional. However, the 23-year-old adds that supporters still have the Champions League elimination on their minds, whatever the result is.

“We lost, we played a good team that plays for Europe. They stuck to their plan. They played, they wanted. Congratulations to them. I hope they will hook Europe. They deserve victory today. The objective is to seek the tenth title of champion of France. The rest doesn’t matter people. We can win 8-0 or 9-0, people will still think of the Champions League,” Mbappé said.

“Now, we must remain professional, we must respect each other. We must respect the supporters who support us, the people, our families. And we are going to get this tenth title. You have to respect yourself already. If we have a minimum of esteem for what we do. We have to respect each other but it was a game without. We lost.”
