Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe has picked up an injury at the wrong time at this point in the season. PSG’s official website notes that the French forward suffered a knock on his foot in training but that medical tests conducted following the incident were “reassuring.”
Mbappe suffered the injury in training after being stepped on by midfielder Idrissa Gueye.

L’Equipe does note that Mbappe is expected to feature for PSG in its upcoming UEFA Champions League round of 16 second leg clash against Real Madrid. The forward did not sustain a “fracture” in his foot.
PSG heads into the second leg of the tie with a 1-0 advantage.
