Video: ‘I Don’t Feel Well’ – Mauricio Pochettino Discusses His Emotions Following PSG’s Elimination From the Champions League

Paris Saint-Germain is still reeling from this past week’s UEFA Champions League elimination at the hands of Real Madrid. The capital club was up 2-0 on aggregate and, in 20 minutes, conceded a hat-trick in the second half to Karim Benzema.

Manager Mauricio Pochettino spoke to the media at his news conference. After a few days removed from the French giants’ latest debacle in the Champions League Wednesday night in Madrid, the French press asked what the Argentine tactician felt.

“How do I feel? Not good. I have some discomfort. When we analyze the elimination, we were very well at home and 60 minutes at home where we were superior. I live badly, I don’t feel well, I have rage, I express discomfort,” Pochettino said.

“I know there is a responsibility to think about the championship and to win this 10th title. But, that doesn’t mean I’m not strong. I feel strong for the next deadlines. It’s hard to sleep at night, but there’s the responsibility of thinking about the league.”
