A couple of days ago, Atlético de Madrid manager Diego Simeone was linked to being a possible candidate for the Paris Saint-Germain managerial position.
It seems both the capital club and Mauricio Pochettino are likely to part ways in a couple of months. L’Equipe published a report revealing the candidates Les Parisiens could talk to about filling the void.
Atlético president Enrique Cerezo was asked about the rumors linking the Argentine to the French capital during a media scrum, and Cerezo didn’t appreciate the question.
“Simeone and PSG? You always have something to talk about otherwise, you would have to stay home. You always have something to talk about, even if it’s a lie,” Cerezo said.
“They are giving you work for the next four years. Simeone has a great match ahead of him, which is very important for him and for everyone.”
