This summer, Paris Saint-Germain will reportedly be in the market for a new manager. Manager Mauricio Pochettino doesn’t appear to be staying past June after the capital club crashed out in the UEFA Champions League Round of 16 to Real Madrid.
As a result, there are various candidates, one of them being Arsenal FC manager Mikel Arteta, who has a connection to the French giants. The 39-year-old played one season on loan at PSG during the 2001-02 season when he was a young player.
Following Arsenal’s 2-0 loss to Liverpool, Arteta was asked about the rumors linking him to Les Parisiens during a news conference. “It’s very simple. I am extremely happy here and grateful that this is where I am,” Arteta said.
