Former Brazilian international Ronaldinho sees (via AS) that Neymar has what it takes to enjoy grand success at Paris Saint-Germain, and it will begin by staying healthy next season.
“I hope he doesn’t get injured next season and the rest is normal,” Ronaldinho said during the presentation of the FootSider application. “Every year he wins something, in the national team or at PSG. Well, not yet the Champions League. But I hope that with Messi’s adaptation they can write a great story the three of them.”
Neymar has faced injury issues this season, which include missing a bulk of time in the first half of the season due to an ankle injury suffered during Paris Saint-Germain’s Ligue 1 away fixture against AS Saint-Etienne. He has since gone on to once again feature for PSG.
More so, as Ronaldinho touched on, it sure will be key for Neymar to go on and build keen chemistry with Lionel Messi at PSG. The two shined during their run together at Barcelona, but they have not had it all go their way at PSG so far this season.
Neymar could go on to feature in PSG’s upcoming Ligue 1 home clash against Lorient on April 3.
