Report: Ramos Remains On Track to Miss the Second Leg of PSG’s Champions League Tie Against Real Madrid

As the second leg of Paris Saint-Germain’s UEFA Champions League round of 16 tie against Real Madrid is now a week away, the Ligue 1 side could end up seeing Sergio Ramos miss the match.

As noted by RMC Sport, Ramos’ presence for the second leg of the tie is “unlikely.”

The veteran Spanish defender has been sidelined as of late due to his calf injury, which ruled him out of PSG’s scheduled training session on Wednesday ahead of its Ligue 1 encounter with OGC Nice.

As it stands, Brazilian defender Marquinhos is on track to lead PSG’s backline in the coming matches against both OGC Nice and Real Madrid.

In the big picture, it remains to be seen on just when Ramos will be cleared to at the least return to training.

Overall, Ramos has featured in a mere five matches in all competitions in his debut season at PSG.
